Around LA

As the July 4th holiday was on a Tuesday, my offices were closed on Monday as well so there was biking around LA.  The weather cooperated as it was never too hot. Perfect for biking.

A shorter ride to Palos Verdes on Saturday

by way of Hermosa Beach

On Sunday, back to Pasadena. I climbed a little further up Foothill Blvd and rode through La Crescenta

I climbed up through the back roads into Pasadena.  The last time I had taken this ride was a few years back.  A lot more climbing before taking a ride back down.

Monday was a ride to Woodland Hills to do a little bicycle research.  No pictures of that ride.

Tuesday, I went to Griffith Park.

The air quality was not very good. This is what it looked like from the Griffith Observatory to downtown.

Lastly, we needed some rice. Back on the touring bike.  Around 8 miles with a 20 pound sack of rice on the back of the bike.

A total of 200 miles over the 4 day holiday period.  I am getting back into bicycle shape.
